New Designs!
Our funky new Retro range of unique designs has reached the finals of the Wall Tile of the Year award from the Tile Association. The Retro designs are available as wall tiles or splashbacks - Click here to see the full range.
Our new Mono range of colours are ideal for customers preferring a plainer look for their splashback but still wanting something handmade with a texture and depth to the colours. Click here to see the full range of colours.

Employment Opportunity   From January 2007 we will have moved our glass studio to the beautiful location of St Davids, on the Pembrokeshire coast. We have an opportunity for a full time assistant to join the business at this exciting time. The successful applicant will be employed to assist in all areas of the business – primarily in production, but there will also be opportunity to develop skills in design, customer liaison, sales and administration. We are moving our studio to St Davids in Pembrokeshire and want to take as little as possible with us, so all stock must go! We have a vast selection of our handmade tiles in all sorts of colours, designs and sizes - some seconds and some perfect.  Prices from 50p for a 5cm x 5cm insert tile – that’s over 90% off the usual price! Wall hangings, splashbacks, platters, bowls, coasters and freestanding panels will all be included in the sale at fantastic reductions.  Furthermore we will deduct 20% from the usual price of any new orders or commissions placed with us in person at the event.   Order a kitchen splashback at 20% off and we will still have it ready in time for Christmas!

Spectacular Sale! On Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November we will be holding the first of our annual sale and exhibition events, at our own studio in Shrewsbury.  Don't miss this amazing opportunity to purchase old and slight 'seconds' items at clearance  prices.  Literally hundreds of tiles, plus selected bowls, platters, splashbacks and wall-hangings will be available at a fraction of their usual cost.  Eg Tiles from 50p (usually retailing at  over £9 upwards) and dishes from £15 (usually selling for £100 upwards). August 2005 Forthcoming events The next few months will bring a number of opportunities to view and purchase our work at various locations around the country.  Confirmed so far are the following: ArtsFest, 10&11 September, Mail Box, Birmingham.  This is the UK's largest free arts festival, taking over the streets of Birmingham for one weekend.  Our work will be for sale in the Arts & Craft Gallery being hosted at the Mail Box.  Click on the logo to the right for the ArtsFest website.

New Designs This month sees the launch of our Butterfly inspired designs, which have been incorporated into a collection of fused glass wall hangings of varying sizes.
Exhibitions This spring and summer bring a number of opportunities for both and retail and trade customers to view and purchase our newest work:
Trade buyers are invited to see our latest art hangings, bowls and platters at the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate (3-5 April), including a ‘first view’ of our new Butterfly designs. The Concept For Living Home & Garden Exhibition is a consumer event not to be missed, and is held at Tatton Park in Cheshire from 30 April to 2 May. Visitors to our stand will be able to view first-hand our full range of unique glass tile designs, as well as our popular splashbacks, art hangings and home accessories. Our work has been selected to form part of a private exhibition for Scandinavian art buyers, to be held at the British Embassy in Helisinki, Finland in May. We will be showing alongside other glass, wood and ceramic artists at this event which is being organised by the Embassy in response to market opportunities they have identified for British design.
The Ferrers Gallery in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, will be featuring some of our pieces as part of their new ‘Shatter’ exhibition – an exploration of the beauty of glass through shape and colour. LUMA Tile has landed! Visitors to our stand at 100% Design this month will be the first to see our latest exciting innovation - the illuminated glass tile. In the form of our new LUMA Tile product, customers can now enjoy the stunning effects of our glass tiles when illuminated from within!
The LUMA Tile consists of our textured glass tile front, attached to a self-contained light unit. The whole unit is super slim - only 6mm deeper than the standard tile - for ease of installation, and is low-voltage making it safe for bathrooms and showering environments. With an average lamp-life of 100,000 hours the LUMA Tile should not need replacing within the normal life of a bathroom.
Illumination dramatically alters the appearance and colour of the glass tiles, so at the flick of a switch you can create a very different mood in the space within which they are installed - perfect for atmospheric and funky lighting at nighttime! Several units can be connected to one power supply making it easy to create a unique illuminated wall feature.
The LUMA Tile is available in any of the designs from all of our five ranges; tiles from the Colonsay collection - such as Oronsay, Strand and Kiloran Bay - look particularly striking when illuminated. Standard sizes for LUMA Tiles include 10cm x 10cm, 15cm x 15cm, 20cm x 20cm and 30cm x 30cm; plus border formats such as 5cm x 30cm which can be installed end-to-end vertically or horizontally to form one continuous illuminated strip. Bespoke sizes are also available.

New designs! We have launched a new, fifth series to our range of unique tile designs. The “Earth” series has been specially created to contrast beautifully with the textures and shades of natural materials such as limestone, marble and slate, and features a range of patterns in earthy hues. Click on The Range from the menu on the left to see all five series of designs.
A collection of our latest art pieces can be seen at Glansevern Hall Gallery, near Welshpool, Powys where we are exhibiting from 2 nd to 31 July. The gallery is situated in Glansevern Hall grounds, where the renowned gardens are open to the public. Exhibition and gardens open Fridays and Saturdays only; other times by appointment.

Come and see us at The Interiors Event, NEC, 18-21 January. This is the UK's largest interiors event showcasing the latest ranges in tiles, accessories, lighting, decorative interiors, kitchens, bathrooms and soft furnishings. Our glass studio is now open to the public. Visitors can view and order from our full range of tile designs, and will be inspired by our displays with ideas on how the designs can be incorporated with ceramic, stone or plain glass tiles … or even backlit. Tile ‘seconds’ are available at a fraction of the normal price. Enjoy browsing over our ever-changing selection of bowls and art pieces with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. We are situated in fantastic Shropshire countryside yet only minutes from the A5 – see our ‘Contact/Find Us’ page for a map and directions.

We were delighted with the response to our glass tiles, when we exhibited at the highly regarded 100% Design show recently. If you missed the show, some pictures of our stand can be found opposite. Of particular interest to many interior designers and architects were our backlit tiles - see the board on the far right of our stand, which is also shown in close-up.

We are proud to be associated with Urban Interiors, a new exhibition being launched at the Commonwealth Wealth Institute in Kensington, 7-9 November. The event will feature professionally designed room sets offering a glimpse into the styles and trends that will shape the interiors market in 2004 and beyond, and the Urban Interiors Design Seminars will offer essential advice for the style conscious homeowner with presentations from some of Europe's foremost designers. The world-renowned V&A Museum in London have chosen to supply our products. From later this month, a selection of coasters and other pieces will be available in the museum shop.
We have been selected to join Design Nation – this has been established by the Design Council to promote the excellence of British design internationally, through its website http://www.designnation.co.uk/
We have been successful in our application to exhibit at this year’s 100% Design show, at Earl’s Court in September. 100% Design is the UK’s leading commercial contemporary interior design exhibition, and is internationally recognised as one of the world’s most influential events alongside Milan, Cologne and New York.
